The picturesque, historic Georgian-style village of Richmond is located about 20 minutes from Hobart and is home to the oldest bridge, church and gaol in Australia.  There is a maze, old fashion lolly shop, some great shops, a cheese factory and several wineries  - making it a “must visit” destination.  Spend a day visiting the former convict settlement of Port Arthur, whilst stopping on the way to see the natural attractions at Eaglehawk Neck including the Tasman Arch, Devil’s Kitchen, Tessellated Pavement and blow hole. For those of you who are nature lovers, you cannot go past the Tahune Airwalk just past Geeveston and the Tall Tree walk or the fabulous Russell Falls at Mount Fields National Park.

The cafes and restaurants, fresh seafood and produce are a highlight of Tasmania, along with the many great wines this state produces.
