Whitecliffs Beach Resort is set on about one acre and features 20 single and double storey units (5 x one bedroom, 14 x two bedroom & 1 x three bedroom), Adults only guest lounge, games room, covered swimming pool and spa, sauna, mini golf, adults only spa, volleyball, children’s playground and BBQ areas and there’s the famous Holiday Concepts Pancake Breakfast. 


With its carnival atmosphere and safe bay swimming the Mornington Peninsula has much to offer.  Join a fishing charter and explore the deep, hire a catamaran and try your hand at sailing and surf or horse ride at Gunnamatta Ocean Beach.


Food and wine are one of life’s greatest pleasures on the Mornington Peninsula.  Just drive through the region and the Peninsula’s love affair with wine, fresh produce, seafood and bountiful food on the table is quickly revealed.


Local wineries offer 50 cellar doors, along with restaurants and cafes set in beautifully landscaped gardens and on terraces overlooking the vines.  A wine tasting can easily stretch into a lunch or dinner.


The Mornington Peninsula is renowned for some of the world’s best natural golfing terrain.  Enjoy one of the magnificent 18 hole golf courses with breathtaking views of the coast and countryside.


You can explore a little further afield with a trip on the passenger and vehicle ferry across the Port Phillip Bay heads to the Bellarine Peninsula where you can explore Geelong, Queenscliff and The Great Ocean Road.

Please note the majority of units at this resort are double story with internal stairs.  Almost all of the units have the living area located on the ground floor and the bedrooms/bathroom/s located upstairs. Please contact the resort directly with any special requirements.

Directions

From Melbourne:  The nearest international airport is Melbourne, approximately 110km from the resort. 


From the airport, take the Tullamarine Freeway towards the City Link (M1), and follow the City Link to the South Eastern Suburbs (SE) turn off.  Turn left onto the West Gate Freeway (M1), go through the Burnley Tunnel, and follow the signs to Dandenong.  After the Stud Rd turn off, stay in the left hand lane and veer off onto the South Gippsland Highway(M420), heading toward Cranbourne.  Continue straight along and it becomes the Westernport Highway (A780).  At the 4th roundabout turn right and head towards Frankston on the Frankston Cranbourne Road (4).
Take this through to the intersection of the Frankston Freeway and the Moorooduc Highway (11).  Turn left and follow the signs to Rosebud/Portsea.  Once at Rosebud, follow the signs to Portsea.  After approximately 8km you will reach Rye.  Travel through Rye and you will see a car wash on the corner of Dundas Street and Point Nepean Road at the traffic lights.  Approximately 200 metres past the carwash turn left into Elgan Avenue where reception is located.  Travel time by car is approximately 2 hours. 


Please note:  When using the CityLink toll way, you will be required to purchase a DAY PASS.  This can be done at any Post Office or selected Shell Service Station, or by calling 13 26 29 before your trip.  PENALTIES APPLY IF A DAY PASS IS NOT PURCHASED.
